Tiresias and Fool are my favorites

Fool was not a fool and Tiresias was not blind. when i watch and read both Oedipus the king and King Lear i could get chance to see some similarities on Lear's Fool and Oedipus's Tiresias. He could be blind but he was more sightly than many people those who are not blind. he knows many things which are difficult to know as a normal person. nevertheless Oedipus in ignorant he cannot see the his wisdom. on the other hand Lear's fool was also saying really valuable things if they can interpret deeply. those two character showing the truths but protagonist of both stories are blind, ignorant and foolish. those people representing what actually protagonist is. Oedipus is blind ignorant, Lear is really foolish. they are two mirror character for Oedipus and Lear. Lear is foolish dividing his lands among his daughter without knowing their face, Oedipus is blind to see realities.

CONTENT LEARNING

drama class and tutorial were like a dream. i was worrying about what i would learn at the beginning. i thought we ll do only english drama, and this is really boring for me. whatever it was we learn about ancient Greek also. how ever so far i wasn't bored in the class. we learned how to analyze plays, its character, character treatment, early scene, later scene, moral values, all thing thing were related to education and the important one is content for the students. all the elements were suitable for student. as an educator those are the important things that we can use while we are teaching english to our students.
they will be entertaining while learning english and at the same time they may learn more about other entities and about moral values. i found that drama course was really useful for us as a future teachers. i really appreciate when we were analyzing character's treatments and i loved it to learn. because i said that "this is a treasure for us to facilitate for our students, this is a way when we teach something important to our students." i really enjoy with my brain and with my heart during this course. i was not happy during my high school experience because there were many unusably courses offered for students to take, we were wasting time with some hours in our high school, so it was discouraging me towards my studies. because i want which is useful for me in the future. now i think of high school's courses, i found some courses i never use. if we still continue to learn then it would be help full. any how our drama course was interesting and really appreciable. one of the best play was i really like, Oedipus the king. king Lear theme was almost same but oedipus was really interesting. when we finish the play i just thought like this "if something is in your destiny even if you contact with gurus, you cannot escape from it and if you learn something which you should not learn (as Oedipus real fathers action, when he was informed about his son will kill him and with his action he made everything more worse)makes life more terrible. if Oedipus had not been sent given to others he would not married with his own mother. however we get many important views with the flaw of the story. shortly whatever we learn in this course was quite important. and of course with help of beloved mr. edwin and miss kasthoori.
thanx...

blogging

drama is one of the art subject, art is our essence, our essence needs reflection therefore the best way for reflection for the drama subject it might be the blogging. whatever we learn in this class we have to confess to our educator, we need to do it because our educator may see that his result on us. when we send our blogs actually we show our thoughts with sentences. we show our reflection on what we have in our mind and what we receive from class. actually it would be really useful if we are blogging for other subject and ah if only our other lecturers are able to check all responses then there may be some real interaction between lecturer and student.
there are some aspirant student towards to his class but someway student hesitate or or not dare to talk face to face with his lecturer. we can line up many reason however if student is encouraged to give his thoughts thorough blogging i believe that student will be more attentive to his course and will learn more, because, while keep sending student will be able to keep his knowledge active and will be more responsive. im trying to confess my thoughts by sending and i find that im trying to get more knowledge about this course and about what we learn. so blogging is so useful for us as a student, especially for such affectionate course...

teaching of drama is required for languge teachers

what aspect of the lecturer/tutorials are related or useful to my area of study???
as far as we are the candidates of futures language teachers language of drama subject is totally related and useful for our studies and teachings. and if the syllabus that we have to follow is covering the literature chapters, it means we really need this course. even if we teach in moral class we are still able to use our drama knowledge. for example if we want to teach some moral values to our students from our curriculum we may use a play script whic is related to the our topic that will teach. in that way our pupils will be aprriciating with lesson and hopefully they will enjoy more. actually if there is a interest on a topic learning will be that much affective.
affective factors are every time important for all fields of teaching. for me one of the best device is to be used is drama content. so we really learn some important things in this course and it will be really helpful for our teaching not only in language class but in other classes.
i dont think that this course teaching of the language of drama is not unusably. im not agree with this statement. since we are language teacher we always be needed to this course knowledge and its ingredients

i did a simulated teaching

i was the last person doing simulated teaching in our class. everything was not really good may be during my teaching but i feel so relax when i was teaching. i was not really tension or confused. i hv experienced simulated teaching in other classes but for drama one i was quite OK. there were some weakness in my simulated teaching, such as i was so fast when i was telling and proceeding from task to task. if i do it in a real class teaching, most probably most of the students may not follow me. ithink it is because i act as usual during teaching, i mean i speak fast so i dont maintain my speed of talking. however i found that im not good enough following the time. my time managemnent was not really fix. if i compare my teaching with other classes i almost do the same mistakes, i cannot use the time according to my plan. nevertheless i feel i need to improve my language more but it wont be problem, if i prepared well before go to teaching i may overcome to this weakness.whatever it is, even if i had weakneses or mistakes during my simulated teaching, i still learn something, because some people learn by doing mistakes or from their mistakes. on the other side i had some strengths on my teaching. i was able to control the class easily, and my set induction was quite different than others. i started to lesson by telling an anecdote and i think all students were interested with the topic and pictures. and i think also i could linked it to the pre-reading stage. students were quite clear about what they will do during the lesson.. my exercises were not really much different than others but students were not really bored doing them.
however each simulated teaching gives m,e new inspirations and i gain new experiences. in amali class we got too many opportunities to improve our selves of course with help of miss Kasthoori. thanks for encouraging us as a teacher.

what a wise man???

What a wise man?
Every nation has important norms and vice saying and characters...
Most of the societies recognized its own wise and guru people to guide them to the right path. In many belief system and religions there are some criteria to be a vice person for societies. Being good, truthful mysterious, knowledgeable, fortune reader, faithful, God’s sake seeker etc. For instance one of such character appears in ancient Greek time. That character named as Teiresias. Teiresias, the most famous soothsayer of Greece, was born at Thebes. He was the son of Eueres and Chariclo, descendant of Udaeus of Sparti.

Teiresias was a blinded person, some say because of his knowledge some say because of his sight what he saw, whatever happened to him quite childish story, actually Greek mythology is quite childish, gods are fighting and having kids, for instance, Zeus he was a completed god but he had relation with human woman and they got half god half human child named Hercule. So for Teiresias was accused by Hera and punished. The punishment was also quite funny and impossible/. But what to do, we just accept it as a story from people. Those people who made these ancient Greek mythology stories were having some expectation from life. We can see that from their stories and character that they produce. Our wise prophet Teiresias was one of them. We see that those people were thirsty to the knowledge and spiritual life. They needed to such characters. Therefore they made a Teiresias. Teiresias is actually completing the story of Oedipus the king. Without him message of the story and theme couldn’t be that much perfect. sometimes i think alone and i say to may self "is it possible that actually teiresias was a really a prophet from the God, same as jesus, muses, HZ. Muhhammad,? is he one of them? may be in his time ancient greek people made him like this, now how we see him hin Sophocles plays. may be they change him or re-form his chracter according to their dream. may be he was one of the messanger from tha divine palace., why not ha?
